About Demetria

Demetria is all of the above and more. She was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. That's right she's a NOLA girl! Who Dat! She is a lover of life and loves to help, inspire, motivate and encourage others in any way she can. One of her favorite motto's that also derives from a song is "If I can help somebody, as I pass along, If I can cheer somebody, with a word or song, If I can show somebody, that he's traveling wrong, Then my living shall not be in vain". This is what she aspires to do as a new blogger. She desires to help others as she shares her experiences in her singleness and her day-to-day Christian walk.

Demetria is passionate about ministering to others in hopes to win souls for Christ and to see lives changed, set-free and healed. Demetria is also a Technology Teacher. She teaches K-8th grade. She LOVES children! She strives daily to make a huge impact in their lives and education. Demetria loves to spend time with God & His word, travel, sing, listen to/write music, read, design, teach, spend time with family and friends and most of all, spend quality time with her six year old niece whom she absolutely adores. Finally, she is just a child of God who strives daily to live a life pleasing to her King.
